Club Glider Bookings

This is the Booking Page for all Club Gliders.

The rules for booking have been amended and are in place to ensure fairness and equity amongst members using the club gliders.

By booking a club glider I agree and understand the following:

• I cannot book a glider before 0900 on the Monday before the booking.
• I confirm that I am current to fly the glider booked.
• I cannot book a BSS glider on consecutive days.
• I am required to attend the daily briefing to confirm my booking.
• The training twins VH-DGZ, VH-GAP and VH-BSS cannot be booked without the written permission of the Duty Instructor of the day of the booking.
• That if I fail to appear for a booking and fly (other than on a day cancelled by the duty instructor or for a genuine reason), I will not be able to book another Club glider for the next 30 days.
• If I need to cancel a booking, I will contact Rich Tolley, (The Booking Manager) so that the booking can be made available for other members.
• I understand that my booking may be cancelled by the Booking Manager in preference to another member that had not had the opportunity to book due to touring work cycles or other circumstances.

The Booking Manager main role is to ensure there is a sensible balance for all club members when booking a glider.

Rich Tolley will be the “Booking Manager” for this process and is there to assist either in the booking process or cancellations.
